When younger, he was always closer to his sister than his brother, even though she was younger than him, she was always more mature, so when staying with their Gran she would always take care of him and attempt to stop him getting into trouble.

At the age of ten, Brian’s mother passed away. His father was much too busy to take care of him and support him through his school years. But that doesn’t mean that he didn’t try. Because he did. But bringing a child up in the middle of Las Vegas isn’t such a good idea. When Brian got in with the wrong gangs at school, and became a problem child, he was sent to live with his Gran in hope that it would set him straight in his ways. It took a while for him to settle down, and he never really did lose the wild attitude, either. It just lay dormant for a while, taking a back seat and waiting for the chance to come out and play again.

At the age of sixteen, Brian left his Gran’s house so that he could go and live back in Las Vegas with his father who started to introduce him to the ways of the casino. When Brian wasn’t at school, or out doing things that a boy of his age shouldn’t be doing, he was in the casino, learning the ways and different tricks that helped to shape him into the man he is today. Most of the things that he learned weren’t all necessarily good, but he did learn an amazing trick of how to cheat at poker.

Brian’s father (Brian Haner Sr.) is well known for his very popular casino, El Cortez, in Las Vegas. Two years ago, Brian’s father was forced to take a step back from the casino due to sick health. It was in this time that Brian then gained a bigger role to play in the casino, slowly taking over what his father was starting to slack on. One thing that his father asked for was that Brian was to make sure that the casino didn’t fall apart. He’d put so much hard work into it over the years, and it was still so popular. The last thing he wanted was for the casino to die. But the casino outlived him. Brian’s father died almost seven months after his health started to deteriorate. In his will, he left the casino to Brian, believing that his son would be able to pick up the job where he left off, and ensure that the casino didn’t start to die.

It wasn’t until Brian went to college did he meet Frank Iero, his now best friend of eight years. Brian has never been a guy who’s loyal to people, but there were exceptions when it came to Frank. Every friendship has their small, petty arguments, but he’s still as close and a loyal friend to Frank as he’s always been. If not even more so now. When Brian’s father passed away and he took over the casino establishment, it was Frank that he offered the job of co-owning it with him, knowing that he wouldn’t have been able to do it alone. He trusts Frank and trust is something that’s hard to find in Las Vegas. He knew that Frank was the right guy to go to for help. Respect is something that the two friends have for each other. They work well together as partners in El Cortez, and will continue to do so.

In the year and a half since Brian, and his best friend, took over the casino, it’s become more popular than ever before. But not all for good reasons. There’s still that rebellious side to the young man; the side that will break his own rules of the casino, because if you can’t break your own rules, then nobody can. After moving back to Las Vegas at the age of sixteen, Brian found himself with a very keen interest in drugs. It was that interest that got him into a lot of trouble, and known around the area. But now he’s bigger, better, and richer than ever. He’s got everything that he’s ever wanted, and the money to buy whatever and whoever he wants. Brian is the type of guy who walks around the casino with one or two women at his side, although most claim that he’s never slept with them. He’s the guy that you don’t fuck with, because the consequences of doing so aren’t ones that a person would willingly consider. This is his casino; his rules. You have to play dirty if you’re going to play at all.

Etc.

Examples of RPing (at least two): Examples can be found here: youaredeadmeat
